Short Description:

Energy recovery ventilation (ERV) is an advanced energy recovery ventilation process used in residential and commercial HVAC systems. It exchanges the energy contained in normally exhausted air from a building or conditioned space and uses it to precondition the incoming outdoor ventilation air.

During cooler seasons, the energy recovery ventilation system humidifies and preheats the incoming fresh air. An ERV system helps HVAC designs meet ventilation and energy standards (e.g., ASHRAE), improves indoor air quality, and reduces the total HVAC equipment capacity required. This lowers energy consumption and enables HVAC systems to maintain 40–50% indoor relative humidity under most operating conditions.

• Energy Saving Principle

The energy recovery ventilation process follows the heat recovery calculating equation:

SA temp. = (RA temp. − OA temp.) × temp. recovery efficiency + OA temp.

Example:
14.8℃ = (20℃ − 0℃) × 74% + 0℃

Heat recovery calculating equation:

SA temp. = (RA temp. − OA temp.) × temp. recovery efficiency + OA temp.

Example:
27.8℃ = (33℃ − 26℃) × 74% + 26℃

G4*2 + H12 (Customizable)

A: Primary Purification (G4)
The primary filter is suitable for the primary filtration of energy recovery ventilation systems and is mainly used for filtering dust particles larger than 0.5 μm. (Default white G4 primary filter. If you require the paper carbon filter shown in the picture above, please contact customer service.)

B: High-Efficiency Purification (H12)
Effectively purifies PM2.5 particulate matter. For 0.1 μm and 0.3 μm particles, the purification efficiency reaches 99.998%. It traps 99.9% of bacteria and viruses and causes them to die from dehydration within 72 hours, helping maintain clean air throughout the energy recovery ventilation process.
